The three friends, Hidenori, Yoshitake, and Tadakuni, roam through the halls of Sanada North High School. They are an eccentric group, with Hidenori being the ringleader, Yoshitake being passionate, and Tadakuni being rational and prudent. Their lives may seem mundane in reality, but their imaginations are filled with giant robots, true love, and intense drama. Despite this, they manage to find humor in everyday situations, such as intricate RPG reenactments or unexpected romantic encounters on the riverbank at sunset. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is a show that captures the bizarre yet relatable nature of life, making it anything but mundane.
This entry also includes the eight pre-airings of about 5 minutes length which were distributed through Nico Nico Douga. These pre-airings were all eventually shown during the TV series run and are considered trailers by MAL.
