Dead Account TV Anime Unveils 2nd Promo Video, Global Game Plans
IANGAMES develops team rogue-lite game for smartphones, PC
On Thursday, the second promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of Shizumu Watanabe's manga series "Dead Account" was made available by its streaming staff.
The anime's website announced ( link ) On October 10th, IANGAMES will release globally their new game called "Dead Account ~Futatsu no Aoi Honō~" (Dead Account : Two Blue Flames) for iOS, Android, and PC through Stove service. Smilegate /Megaport will distribute this rogue-lite game team.
In January 2026, "The Dead Account" anime series is set to premiere on TV Asahi and its partner stations during their "IMAnimation" block on Saturdays at 11:30 p.m., which corresponds to 9:30 a.m. EST.

Synergy SP has appointed Keiya Saitō as director of the anime series "Rokudo's Bad Girls," Mitsutaka Hirota has been assigned as script supervisor for "Edens Zero" and "Rent-A-Girlfriend," while Keiji Inai has been tasked with composing the music for "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?" and "Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" at Nippon Columbia.

In this story, a boy named Sōji Enishiro streams online under the handle "Aoringo" as a way to earn money for his younger sister's medical bills. However, he creates violent and provocative content on purpose to get reactions from viewers. In reality, he is just a simple boy who loves pudding and his sister dearly. One day while streaming online, he encounters a ghost that resides in the digital realm, which leaves him spiritually awakened. As a result of this encounter, he is recruited by Miden Academy, which specializes in training exorcists for the digital realm. This manga is not related to Watanabe and Okushō's earlier Real Account manga.
In January 2023, Weekly Shōnen Magazine introduced a new manga series by Watanabe. Later on, in October 2023, it was moved from the magazine to Kodansha 's Magazine Pocket app. On October 17, Kodansha will release the 12th volume of the compiled book series.
Kodansha 's K MANGA service is publishing the manga in English digitally.
In February 2014, Watanabe and Okushō introduced their Real Account manga in Kodansha ' s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. They concluded it in November 2019. Watanabe (Kono Kanojo wa Fiction desu) was responsible for drawing the art while Okushō wrote the story. Initially published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine starting from January 2015, the manga later moved to Weekly Shonen Magazine. ( link ) In June 2018, the final volume of Real Account was released by Kodansha. In December 2019, Kodansha USA Publishing released the English version of the manga. Ren Kanan wrote a Real Account 0 novel that was released in June 2019 based on the manga.
In March of this year, Kodansha confirmed that the live-action film adaptation of the manga, which was previously announced in 2018, has been canceled due to various reasons.
