On Sunday, Kadokawa revealed that they have added two more actors to the TV anime adaptation of Shirohi 's manga version of Gorilla no Kami Kara Kago Sareta Reijō wa Ōritsu Kishidan de Kawaigareru (The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl or The Lady Blessed by the Gorilla God Is Adored by the Royal Knights) novel series.
Carissa is played by Nozomi Yamamoto in the movie. She is Sofia's classmate from a wealthy family.
As Alene, Kyōka Moriya is portrayed as Sofia's classmate who is both reserved and kind.
In addition to its partnership with Go Go Curry, an anime series has collaborated with a well-known Japanese restaurant chain featuring a gorilla face logo. The lead voice actress created a special dish called "May You Also Be Blessed ♡ Gorilla God Face Curry," which will be available at five Tokyo branches from April 1st to April 30th.

Shirohi made the novel series available on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform, while Kamisu began serializing the manga on Kadokawa 's Flos Comic service in 2021. Kadokawa released the manga's first compiled book volume in November 2021 and its sixth volume on December 5th.
