Although he does not possess the necessary skills for his role on the Metropolitan Police Department investigative team, Isshiki is determined to solve murders and assist people. His senior advised him to seek assistance from Ron Kamonohashi, a retired detective who once had great promise at the Detective Training Academy Blue but disappeared into obscurity. Totomaru expects a professional and composed individual; however, he receives an unkempt and impulsive character. Despite initially rejecting Totomaru's approach, Ron quickly changes his mind and becomes fully engaged in solving the current serial murder case. The reason for Ron's withdrawal from detective work was not due to lack of interest but rather circumstances beyond his control. Isshiki may be the key to Ron's return to his former profession. Together, they tackle each new mystery that comes their way.
