For millennia, the realm of Remnant has faced continuous peril from the Grimm, malevolent beings that seek to annihilate both humans and half-human Faunus. To safeguard themselves, the four realms established institutions known as academies, which train young individuals to become huntsmen - warriors responsible for eradicating Grimm. In Vale, a 15-year-old Ruby Rose has long aspired to attend the esteemed Beacon Academy. Unfortunately, her youth prevents her from doing so initially, leaving her to watch as her older sister, Yang Xiao Long, embarks on the journey alone. However, when Ruby successfully fends off a group of armed robbers, news of her prowess reaches Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon. Consequently, Ruby receives an invitation to join the academy alongside her sibling. Meanwhile, in Atlas, Weiss Schnee disregards her father's wishes and journeys to Beacon, brimming with determination. Simultaneously, solitary rogue Blake Belladonna forsakes her vigilante group in pursuit of a better life at the academy. When their paths intersect, the encounter between the four girls is far from amicable due to their starkly contrasting personalities and convictions. Nevertheless, when they collaborate, team RWBY generates waves of impact that have never been witnessed before in Beacon.
