In ancient times, extraterrestrial beings arrived on Earth and merged with its inhabitants. Due to their distinctive appearance, they were referred to as "Mecha-ude," meaning that when fused, they resembled mechanical limbs. A young middle schooler named Hikaru Amatsuga collaborates with a rare and exceptional Mecha-ude called Arma. To safeguard him, the resistance movement ARMS assigns another dual Mecha-ude user, Aki Murasame, to accompany him everywhere he goes. However, she is also on the lookout for a mysterious Snake-Type Mecha-ude wielder who has endangered several of her comrades. Meanwhile, an enigmatic organization called the Kagami Group seeks the legendary "Trigger Arm," a Mecha-ude rumored to bestow unlimited power. When Akis life is at risk from this group, he teams up with Arma to discover the courage to fight back and learns that his existence will never be ordinary again.

Mecha-ude was first released on the Vimeo streaming platform to supporters before being shipped in October 2018.
