Leviathan Anime Premieres with Hindi, English Dubs
Anime premiered exclusively on Netflix on Thursday
Currently, Netflix offers both Hindi and English language versions with subtitles for the animated adaptation of Scott Westerfeld's novel series "Leviathan".
The Hindi dub cast includes:
- Vaibhav Thakkar as Prince Aleksandar "Alek"
- Priyadarshini Indalkar as Sharp
- Samay Thakkar as Volger
- Pankaj Kalraa as Klopp
- Krishn Upadhyay Airforce Captain
- Saurabh Yadav as Hoffman
Leviathan premiered in India as it debuted worldwide exclusively on Netflix on Thursday.
The anime was directed by Christophe Ferreira of Eden Designs, and Joe Hisaishi composed an original song for it.
In 1914, before the start of war, a prince escapes and meets a girl wearing boyish attire aboard an airship called Leviathan, which is made through genetic engineering.
In the 2009-2011 novel series, the original illustrations were drawn by Keith Thompson. Nobuko Toda composed the music for Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, RWBY: Ice Queendom, Ultraman anime, and other projects. Kazuma Jinnouchi also composed music for several anime series including Suzume, Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, RWBY: Ice Queendom, Ultraman anime, Halo 4, Halo 5, Metal Gear Solid 3 & 4, among others. Qubic Pictures produced this project, while Orange produced the animation. Justin Leach and Taiki Sakurai were producers for this project.
Orange has adapted several popular manga series into anime, including "Land of the Lustrous" by Haruka Ichinose, "BEASTARS" by Paru Itagaki, "Godzilla Singular Point" by Godzilla Singular Point Studio, and "Trigun Stampede" by Trigun Stampede Studio. Additionally, they have contributed CG work to various anime productions since 2004 with their work on "Aquarion" television series.
