Miyano plays August, Sanpei plays Remlin




The official Instagram account for the television anime of Kei Urana 's Gachiakuta manga announced two more cast members for the anime on Tuesday. The newly announced cast members are:

Mamoru Miyano as August, Eishia's older brother

Yūko Sanpei as Remlin, the new Spellcaster of Canvas Town

The characters will appear in the ninth episode, which will premiere this weekend.

Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Rudo lives in the slums of a floating town, where the poor scrape by under the shadow of the rich who live a sumptuous life, simply casting their garbage off the side, into the abyss. Then one day, he's falsely accused of murder, and his wrongful conviction leads to an unimaginable punishment—exile off the edge, with the rest of the trash. Down on the surface, the cast-off waste of humanity has bred vicious monsters, and if Rudo wants to have any hope of discovering the truth and seeking vengeance against those who cast him into Hell, he will have to master a new power and join a group known as the Cleaners who battle the hulking trash beasts of the Pit!

The anime stars:

- Aoi Ichikawa as Rudo
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Enjin
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Zanka
- Yumiri Hanamori as Riyo


The anime at BONES is being directed by Fumihiko Suganuma who is also the chief episode director of Train to the End of the World. Hiroshi Seko is in charge of the series scripts for this anime. Satoshi Ishino is both designing the characters and serving as the chief animation director for this anime. Taku Iwasaki is composing the music for this anime.

In Japan, the anime premiered on July 6th across multiple channels including CBC, TBS, and 25 other stations. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll will start streaming the series simultaneously in several regions such as North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East, CIS (excluding Russia and Belarus), and Indian subcontinent on the same day. Additionally, Crunchyroll will provide an English dubbed version of the series for its viewers.


In February 2022, Uranan launched its manga series in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine. Hideyoshi Ando was responsible for designing the graffiti art. On June 17th, Kodansha released the 15th volume of the compiled manga book.
