Ryoichi Ikegami  

At seventeen years old, Ikegami started creating his first comic series. Despite being young, he possessed a unique talent that made his work stand out. His early collaborations were successful, including "AIUEO Boy" with Kazuo Koike in 1973 and Gallant Gang ("Otoko Gumi") with Tetsu Kariya in 1974. These works laid the foundation for one of the most successful manga series in history. Although Ikegami initially worked alone on many of his earlier projects, he now primarily collaborates with others and shows no signs of slowing down.
