The grace field house, situated in a forest with a gated entrance, houses orphans who live together as one big family under the care of isabella, known as "mama." despite daily tests, the children are free to spend their time as they wish, usually playing outdoors. however, they must adhere to the rule not to venture too far from the orphanage. every few months, a child is adopted and sent away forever. the three oldest siblings have doubts about what truly happens at grace field, and soon they will uncover the dark secret that awaits the children, including the twisted nature of mama.
