High school can be a new beginning for some individuals, providing an opportunity to take on different classes and form new friendships. However, for Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara, high school signifies something else entirely - the chance to become the top fighters in their entire student body! Unfortunately, Toudou Academy is not your typical academic institution. It was specifically designed with the purpose of revitalizing martial arts in Japan. This means that instead of focusing on traditional subjects like mathematics and science, students at Toudou Academy are trained in hand-to-hand combat. Souichiro's aspirations to become the best fighter are cut short when he clashes with Masataka Takayanagi and Maya Natsume, two upperclassmen who effortlessly stop his rampage across school. Rather than deterring him, this encounter only fuels Souichiro's competitive spirit. At Toudou Academy, there are many monstrous fighters, each with their own unique abilities and strengths. Some may be stronger than Masataka and Maya, while others may have different fighting styles or techniques. It is up to the students to discover who these powerful individuals are and what they bring to the table. As for Maya's younger sister stalking Souichiro, it is unclear why she would do such a thing. Perhaps there is a personal vendetta against him, or maybe she simply wants to follow in her sister's footsteps and become a top fighter herself. Whatever the reason may be, it will certainly add another layer of intrigue and excitement to the story of Tenjou Tenge!
