Since childhood, Tomoki Sakurai has woken up crying after dreaming of an angel. His friend Sohara Mitsuki is concerned and seeks help from Eishirou Sugata, a sky maniac who believes that Tomokis dream is connected to the New World, a mysterious floating anomaly that scientists have been unable to comprehend. With the formation of the New World Discovery Club, Eishirou schedules a meeting to observe this celestial enigma. On the designated day, Tomokis life takes an unexpected turn when a strange girl falls from the sky and addresses him as master. Sora no Otoshimono chronicles the daily activities of the New World Discovery Club as they delve deeper into understanding the Angeloids that have arrived on Earth.
