The novel "Lost Song" follows the lives of two songstresses named Rin and Finis. Rin grew up in a remote village with her family and learned to keep her magical abilities secret. Meanwhile, Finis lived and performed at the royal palace. Rins peaceful life was disrupted when she saved an injured knight's life using her healing song. Soldiers saw this and attacked her village, forcing her to flee with her brother Al. They journeyed to the capital in search of a better life. On the other hand, Finis fell in love with the same knight, Henry Leobort, but she had to hide their relationship because Prince Lood Bernstein IV wanted her for himself. She was worried that war would force her to use her magic on the battlefield, which she didn't want. As time passed, Rin and Finis' paths intersected as they struggled to find their way in a world filled with challenges.
