Shidou Itsuka is currently facing more danger than he has previously experienced because of his ongoing relationship with Ratatoskr. He has already sealed 10 Spirits, and Isaac Westcott, leader of Deus Ex Machina Industries, has decided it is time for him to eliminate Shidou and seize control of the Spirits' powers for himself. To accomplish this goal, Isaac declares war on Ratatoskr, compelling the organization to use all its resources to protect Shidou. Although outnumbered and outmatched, there is still hope for Shidou thanks to Kurumi Tokisaki, the Spirit of Time. In order to save himself and confront the source of it all-the Spirit of Origin-Shidou must seal Kurumi and acquire her power to travel through time.

Date A Live V was released on Blu-ray and DVD in two box sets from July 24, 2024, to August 28, 2024.
