The invasion of the Galactic Empire by the Free Planets Alliances has failed due to supply mismanagement, resulting in heavy losses. Despite being outnumbered and knowing that it was a lost cause, Fleet Admiral Lazar Lobos orders his remaining Alliance fleets to gather in Amritsar Starzone for a final stand against the incoming counterattack. On the other hand, Strategic genius Fleet Admiral Reinhard von Lohengramm leads the Imperial forces into this decisive battle with an overwhelming advantage. However, his rival, tactical magician Vice Admiral Yang Wen-li of the Alliance manages to escape once again despite the incompetence of his superiors. Although both Reinhard and Yang are unhappy with the outcome-Reinhard for his imperfect victory and Yang for the tremendous casualties-they must now focus on the political unrest brewing on both sides of the galaxy.
