The young man known as Young Ciel Phantomhive is often referred to as "the Queens Guard Dog" in Victorian England. He is responsible for managing various unsettling events on behalf of Her Majesty. Alongside him, his loyal butler Sebastian Michaelis assists him with seemingly supernatural abilities. However, there may be more to this black-clad butler than meets the eye.
Ciel's past holds a tragic secret that has left him in an eternal state of darkness. During one of his darkest moments, he made a pact with Sebastian, a demon, exchanging his soul for vengeance against those who had wronged him. Today, not only is Sebastian an exceptional butler, but he also serves as the perfect instrument to carry out Ciel's orders while anticipating the delightful meal that will eventually be made from Ciels soul.
As they work together to unravel the mystery behind Ciel's string of misfortunes, a bond forms between them that nothing can break, not even heaven or hell themselves.
